On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders actively buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome, setting the price through supply and demand. The current top outcome reflects the highest chance percentage as determined by these trades. Volume and recent price movements also play a role, with more active trading typically leading to tighter, more accurate odds that align closely with trader expectations.
This market resolves around Aug 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official declaration of the winner, which is then matched against the market's defined outcomes. Until that point, the market remains open for trading, allowing participants to adjust their positions based on evolving expectations.
