If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner declared, all markets resolve to $0.50. If a forfeit, disqualification, or concession occurs before the match begins, all markets resolve to $0.50; if it occurs after play has begun and an official winner is declared, the market resolves based on that result. If play begins but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.

Frequently asked questions

The Kalshi dashboard for the Hampshire vs Yorkshire cricket match displays real-time odds and historical price movements as traders position themselves on the outcome. You can monitor current market sentiment, 24-hour trading volume, and how odds have shifted since the market opened. This live data reflects collective trader expectations about which team will prevail. The interface lets you review past price action to identify trends and volatility patterns leading up to the match, helping you assess market confidence in each outcome before placing your own prediction.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they operate under different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and guarantee profit, while prediction markets are driven by trader supply and demand. This market reflects real-money traders betting their own capital, which can reveal information or sentiment that traditional sportsbooks have not yet priced in. Comparing the two can highlight where the crowd sees edge or where consensus differs, though prediction markets and sportsbooks may weight the same underlying factors differently.

On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the implied probability that outcome will occur, ranging from near-zero to near-100. As new information emerges or trader sentiment shifts, bids and asks adjust, moving the price up or down. You can enter limit or market orders to trade at your preferred price, and the market's liquidity and spread depend on how many traders are actively participating.

This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will reflect which team wins the contest. Until that time, odds may fluctuate based on team news, weather, injury updates, or other factors that traders believe will influence the final result. Resolution is automatic once the event is confirmed, and all positions settle according to the actual outcome.

Key player injuries, team roster changes, or fitness updates can shift odds significantly in either direction. Weather forecasts closer to match day may favor one team's playing style over the other. Recent form, head-to-head records, and venue conditions all influence trader positioning. Betting syndicates or sharp money entering the market can also trigger rapid repricing. Any breaking news about team strategy, lineup decisions, or external circumstances affecting player availability will likely prompt traders to reassess their positions and move the price.
