Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to trader-driven pricing and unique market mechanics. While sportsbooks set fixed odds based on analyst assessments, prediction markets let participants bet directly on outcomes, which can create sharper or more volatile prices. This market’s odds reflect crowd wisdom, adjusting quickly to new information, whereas sportsbook lines change less frequently and may include handling fees or business considerations.
