Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders directly expressing their beliefs about outcomes. Sportsbooks typically build in a margin, whereas prediction markets can offer tighter spreads when liquidity is high. For this market, comparing the implied probability here to major sportsbook lines on the same match can reveal whether traders are more or less bullish on Haaland scoring than traditional oddsmakers.
On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing yes or no outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the balance of supply and demand, with the bid-ask spread tightening as more traders participate. Your position's value updates in real time as new trades occur, and you can exit at any time before the market closes. This transparent, peer-to-peer pricing model allows the market to discover the true probability of Haaland scoring against Brazil based on collective trader conviction.
This market resolves around Jul 6, 2026, once the July 5 match between Haaland's team and Brazil concludes and the final result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by whether Haaland is credited with scoring at least one goal during the match. Official match records and widely reported sports data will confirm the resolution, ensuring clarity and fairness for all traders holding positions in this market.
Several factors could shift odds in this market before it resolves. Team news—such as Haaland's fitness status, lineup confirmation, or tactical changes—often triggers significant price movement. Brazil's defensive setup and recent form against similar opponents may also influence trader sentiment. Weather conditions on match day, historical head-to-head scoring patterns, and late-breaking injury reports closer to kickoff can all prompt traders to adjust their positions. Real-time match developments, including early goals or tactical shifts, will drive final price discovery as the event approaches.
