Description

This market will resolve to "YES" if Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappé, and Lionel Messi each score at least one goal in their respective 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 matches. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." Goals will be determined using the official FIFA.com match reports for the relevant matches. Goals scored in extra time count. Goals scored in penalty shootouts do not count. Own goals do not count as goals for any of the three players. This market will resolve as soon as any one of the three conditions fails to be met, or after all three matches are completed with each player having scored at least one goal. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled or postponed after July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve to "NO." The resolution source for this market is official match reports from FIFA.com — however, if the data on the website is unavailable for 72 hours after the relevant match is completed, a consensus of credible reporting will be used.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader consensus rather than fixed bookmaker margins. On Limitless, participants continuously adjust prices based on new information, team news, and injury reports, whereas sportsbooks update less frequently and build in profit margins. This market's odds may move faster than sportsbook equivalents if breaking news affects the likelihood of all three players scoring, making prediction markets a useful barometer of where informed traders believe true probability lies relative to published betting lines.

On Limitless, traders set prices through continuous order-book matching, where buy and sell orders determine the real-time probability of this outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price reflects the marginal trader's willingness to accept risk at that moment, so as new information emerges—such as team lineups or player fitness updates—the odds adjust instantly. This mechanism ensures that the displayed probability is always the most recent consensus among active participants, rather than a static bookmaker quote.

This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the Round of 32 matches conclude and the outcome is verifiable from credible public sources. The resolution hinges on whether all three players—Haaland, Mbappé, and Messi—each score at least one goal during their respective Round of 32 fixtures. Confirmation comes from official tournament records and widely reported match statistics, ensuring clarity and fairness for all traders.

Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before Jul 4, 2026. Injury announcements or fitness concerns for any of the three players would reduce the probability of all three scoring. Team lineup confirmations, recent form streaks, and opponent defensive strength assessments also influence trader positioning. Additionally, early-round results and goal-scoring patterns in the tournament may prompt reassessment of each player's likelihood to find the net. Media coverage and expert predictions can amplify these moves as the event draws closer.
