Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on models and internal analysis, while this market is driven by real money being wagered. This can lead to discrepancies, particularly when public opinion diverges from expert analysis. Typically, prediction markets are known to be more accurate than sportsbook odds, especially when there's significant volume, as they incorporate a broader range of information and incentives. However, sportsbooks may offer more competitive pricing on certain outcomes.
