Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and to balance action, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both venues. It's common to see prediction markets move faster than sportsbooks to incorporate new information, as they are continuously updated by a diverse group of participants. Examining these differences can offer insights into public perception versus professional analysis.
