On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds adjust dynamically based on real-time trading activity, allowing for rapid shifts in probability as new information emerges. Sportsbook odds, by contrast, are set by professional oddsmakers who factor in broader market trends and historical data. The difference often lies in responsiveness; this market can react more quickly to short-term developments or insider insights that influence trader behavior.
