Polymarket offers 18 discrete exact-score outcomes plus an 'Any Other Score' catch-all, while Kalshi provides four over/under total goals markets (1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5). Both platforms measure only the 90-minute regulation plus stoppage time result.
In the upcoming Brazil Serie B game between Grêmio Novorizontino and Criciúma EC, scheduled for July 21, 2026 at 6:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Grêmio Novorizontino vs. Criciúma EC match originally scheduled for July 21, 2026 at 6:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
This event measures the total goals scored by both teams combined in the Gremio Novorizontino vs Criciuma match scheduled for July 21, 2026. Resolution is based on whether the combined goal total exceeds specified thresholds: 1.5 goals, 2.5 goals, 3.5 goals, or 4.5 goals. Only goals scored during the 90 minutes of regulation play plus stoppage time count; goals from extra time or penalties do not apply. Each threshold outcome resolves independently based on the final combined goal count.
Prediction markets and sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds based on in-house models and manage risk through margin; prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs directly, often reflecting sharper consensus on niche outcomes like exact scores. Because this market focuses on a specific scoreline rather than a simple win/loss, traditional sportsbooks may offer fewer exact-score options or wider spreads. Prediction market odds can move faster in response to team news, injuries, or betting flow, making them useful for comparing against sportsbook lines or identifying value before odds shift.
Team news—injuries to key players, lineup changes, or managerial decisions—can shift odds significantly on exact-score predictions. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions also influence scoring expectations. Betting flow and sharp money entering the market can trigger rapid repricing, especially as match day approaches. Social media sentiment and expert commentary may sway casual traders, while professional bettors react to statistical models and tactical analysis. Monitor pre-match press conferences, official injury reports, and trading volume spikes on both platforms to gauge shifting conviction around likely scorelines.
