On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually set prices through buying and selling contracts, which determines the market odds. The current top outcome’s implied probability reflects the collective assessment of participants about who will win. As new information emerges — such as player injuries or recent form — traders adjust their positions, shifting the odds. This decentralized pricing captures a snapshot of crowd belief rather than institutional forecasts.
