However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the aggregated beliefs of informed traders rather than set odds from bookmakers. While sportsbooks may offer spread or over/under lines, this market lets participants bet on the precise final score, capturing more granular expectations. Traders can react quickly to new information, which may cause shifts not reflected in standard sportsbook pricing.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually set prices for each possible exact score outcome through a zero-sum contract system. The current odds you see reflect the collective assessment of all participants about the likelihood of each score line occurring. As new data emerges — such as team injuries or recent performance — these prices can shift rapidly based on trading volume and participant sentiment.
This market resolves around Aug 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score that appears in authoritative sports news sources after the match concludes will determine which exact score outcome is settled as the winner. No manual intervention or special criteria beyond publicly reported results are involved in the resolution process.
Injuries to key players, changes in coaching strategy, or recent head-to-head performance can all shift trader sentiment and move this market. Weather conditions on the day of the match, disciplinary actions such as suspensions, and even early goal developments during the live game can cause rapid price adjustments. Any new information that alters the perceived probability of specific scorelines may lead to noticeable changes in odds before Aug 30, 2026.
