The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines based on statistical models and aim to balance action on both sides for profit, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders who stake real capital on outcomes they believe will occur. Traders continuously adjust odds based on new information, team news, and betting flows. For exact-score markets, prediction market pricing can sometimes offer sharper or more granular assessments than sportsbooks, which typically focus on simpler bet types. Comparing both sources helps bettors identify where consensus lies and spot discrepancies.
On Polymarket, traders set prices for each exact-score outcome through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on order flow and available liquidity. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each scoreline carries its own probability, and traders can buy or sell shares in any result they believe is mispriced. The top outcome currently reflects strong trader conviction, though prices remain dynamic until the match concludes. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to new information, so markets with deeper participation typically offer tighter spreads and more efficient pricing.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the Goiás versus Ceará match is complete and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regular time; the market will settle to whichever exact-score option matches the official result. Traders should monitor team lineups, injury reports, and any last-minute developments before the kickoff, as these factors can shift market odds significantly in the final hours.
Key catalysts for this market include team news such as injuries to star players, lineup announcements, and recent form trends for both clubs. Weather conditions on match day, head-to-head history, and any tactical adjustments can influence scoring expectations. Large trader positions or sudden capital inflows may also shift odds as new information emerges. Close to kickoff, final team sheets and betting flow from casual bettors often trigger repricing. Monitoring Brazilian football news sources and social media sentiment around both squads will help traders anticipate moves before they're fully reflected in the odds.
