Typically, prediction market odds can offer a different perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market aims to represent the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could signal an opportunity for value betting. However, it’s important to remember that both sources have their own strengths and weaknesses, and neither is guaranteed to be perfectly accurate. Analyzing both can provide a more comprehensive view.
