On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the cumulative positions of all participants; as more traders back one outcome, its price rises and the competing outcome's price falls. Prices range from near zero to near one hundred, representing implied probability. Traders profit by buying low and selling high, or by correctly predicting which outcome will occur. The continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market remains responsive to new information throughout the trading period.
This market resolves around Jul 30, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team scores the opening goal during regular play. Once the event is complete and the first scorer is confirmed through official match records, the market settles accordingly. Traders holding the correct outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The resolution is straightforward and objective, tied directly to the verifiable result of the match itself.
Several factors could shift odds before the match begins. Team news—injuries to key strikers, lineup announcements, or tactical changes—often triggers repricing as traders reassess scoring likelihood. Recent form and head-to-head records influence sentiment, as do weather conditions and venue factors that affect play style. Social media discussion and expert commentary can sway trader conviction. Closer to kickoff, confirmed starting lineups typically generate sharp price moves. During the match itself, early possession, shots on target, and defensive errors will cause rapid repricing as live conditions unfold. Any unexpected development—weather delays, late team news—can also move the market significantly.
