This event covers the professional tennis match between Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and Corentin Moutet in the 2026 ATP London Round of 32 on June 15. Each market resolves based on the exact final set score of the completed match.
Each market resolves to Yes if the specified player wins the match with the exact set score indicated. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to fair price. Postponed or delayed matches remain open and close after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot be unconditionally determined resolve to fair market price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market attracts informed bettors seeking value relative to traditional sportsbooks. Prediction markets typically update faster in response to new information—injuries, weather, or recent form—since traders profit from being first to reprice. However, sportsbooks may occasionally offer sharper lines due to their professional oddsmaking teams. Comparing both sources helps traders identify mispricings and optimize entry points.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit buy and sell orders for each exact-score outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform matches orders in real time, and the last traded price for each outcome becomes the market price. Kalshi's pricing model encourages tight spreads by allowing limit orders to sit on the book, creating transparency and reducing execution slippage. Traders can also observe the full depth of liquidity at different price levels, helping them gauge conviction and size their positions accordingly. This mechanism ensures that prices reflect the aggregate belief of all active participants at any given moment.
This market resolves around Jun 16, 2026, once the Perricard vs Moutet match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact set score at the end of play—for example, 2–0, 2–1, 1–2, or 0–2 depending on the match format. Resolution occurs after official confirmation from the tournament or governing body, ensuring accuracy and preventing disputes. Traders holding positions in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. The timing allows for thorough verification before settlement.
Several factors could shift odds before match day. Recent form and head-to-head records influence trader expectations, especially if either player posts a strong or weak result in the days leading up. Injury reports or fitness concerns can trigger sharp repricing, as can court surface conditions and weather forecasts specific to the venue. Betting syndicates or sharp money entering the market often signal new information, prompting other traders to adjust positions. Player motivation—such as ranking implications or tournament stage—also affects perceived intensity. Real-time updates during warm-ups or early-match play will drive the most dramatic moves as traders react to serve speed, court conditions, and early momentum.
