The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Each market resolves based on the result after the full 90 minutes of play plus any stoppage time, explicitly excluding extra time or penalty shootouts. If the match ends in a tie after regular time, the Tie market resolves to Yes. Should the game be cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price as determined by the platform rules. The markets operate independently but are interdependent in resolution logic, with each outcome exclusively triggering its respective market. Kalshi clarifies it holds no official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds on this market often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines due to different participant dynamics and pricing mechanisms. While sportsbooks may set a spread or over/under based on broader analytics, prediction markets let traders bet directly on exact scores, reflecting fine-grained expectations. The implied probabilities here can show tighter ranges or sharper contrasts, especially for less common scorelines. Traders watch both sides to spot mispricings — for example, a sportsbook might favor a draw, while this market could assign higher chance to a narrow win for one side.
Key signals that could shift probabilities in this market include team news — such as starting lineups, injury updates, or tactical changes — as well as broader factors like home-field advantage or recent form. Weather conditions on game day may also affect scoring potential, pushing odds toward lower-scoring outcomes if rain is expected. Traders will monitor pre-match betting trends on both this market and related markets, such as match winner or total goals, for early hints about shifting sentiment.
