The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning traders can buy 'yes' shares to bet on a specific exact score occurring and sell 'no' shares to bet against it. The price of each share represents the probability of that outcome, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective intelligence of the crowd. The market’s depth—the number of shares available at different price points—indicates the level of confidence in each outcome. Volume plays a key role, as higher volume generally suggests greater conviction.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata versus CA Banfield match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing football association, ensuring a transparent and verifiable process. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or settle their losing positions based on the final, confirmed score.
Several factors could influence the price action in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly shift expectations. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also play a role, potentially affecting the style of play and the final score. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from reputable sports analysts and any shifts in public sentiment—reflected in betting patterns—could all contribute to price movements. A surprising result in a related match involving either team could also influence traders' assessments of their respective form and chances of success.
