Polymarket offers granular exact-score outcomes (0-0 through 3-3 plus Any Other Score), while Kalshi provides total goals over/under thresholds (0.5 through 5.5). In the upcoming K-League game between Gimcheon Sangmu FC and Daejeon Hana Citizen FC, scheduled for July 25, 2026 at 6:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Gimcheon Sangmu FC vs. Daejeon Hana Citizen FC match originally scheduled for July 25, 2026 at 6:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Resolution depends on the total combined goals scored by both teams during the 90-minute match plus stoppage time (excluding extra time or penalties). Each market outcome corresponds to a specific goal threshold: outcomes resolve to Yes if the total exceeds 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, or 5.5 goals respectively. The official final score as recorded by the K League 1 governing body determines resolution.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary due to differences in user bases, liquidity, and how each platform weights trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one platform might attract more traders focused on Korean football, skewing its odds toward certain scores, while the other could reflect a more global view. Additionally, each venue may have different fee structures or minimum trade sizes, influencing how traders place bets and thus shaping the current odds.
Injuries to key players, weather conditions affecting the match, and tactical changes announced by coaches can all shift this market. High-profile trading activity on either Polymarket or Kalshi may also create momentum, especially if large bets are placed on a specific scoreline. As the match nears, any news that changes the perceived balance of power between the teams can cause rapid shifts in trader sentiment and odds.
