Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often incorporating information not immediately available to traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on team statistics and expert analysis, this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, potentially leading to odds that diverge from those offered by sportsbooks. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access, biases, or simply a different interpretation of the same data. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to breaking news or late-developing insights than traditional betting venues.

This market resolves around Sep 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the second half of the Gibraltar vs. São Tomé match. Any goals scored during the second 45 minutes of play, plus any added time, will determine the winning outcome for this market. The official match report will serve as the definitive source for confirming the result and settling the market.

Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Gibraltar or São Tomé e Príncipe could significantly impact the perceived chances of either team winning the second half. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team’s playing style, could also move the market. Unexpected tactical decisions made by the coaches during the match, or even early goals scored in the first half, could all contribute to price fluctuations as traders adjust their positions.
