Generally, prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket, often reflect a ‘wisdom of the crowd’ that can differ from traditional sportsbook lines. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly diverges from the sportsbook’s initial assessment. It’s common to see prediction markets incorporate information and perspectives that sportsbooks might overlook, potentially offering a more accurate forecast of the outcome.
