If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a particular score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price will move accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts closer to the match. Comparing the two can offer valuable insights into differing perspectives on the game.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores for the first half. The price of each share reflects the market's collective probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares purchased for a specific outcome, the higher its price rises, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date predictions of participants.
This market resolves around Sep 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score at the end of the first half of the Getafe CF versus RC Celta de Vigo match will determine the winning outcome. The official match data from a recognized sports data provider will be used to verify the result. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will be paid out based on the final market price at resolution, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Getafe or Celta would likely cause significant price movement. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also shift trader sentiment. Even weather conditions on match day could play a role, potentially impacting the style of play and influencing scoring opportunities. Any unexpected news or developments related to the teams or the match itself could lead to shifts in the probabilities reflected in this market.
