Key catalysts include team lineups and injury news, which affect playing style and aggression levels. Referee assignment and historical card-distribution patterns in similar fixtures can shift expectations. Early match incidents—fouls, yellow cards, or heated exchanges—will trigger immediate repricing as traders update their probability estimates. Tactical adjustments, substitutions, and match momentum (e.g., one team chasing a goal) typically increase physical play and card risk. Weather conditions and pitch quality may also influence referee leniency and foul frequency.
