These markets track how many points each team scores in the first half of a college football game between Georgia and Arkansas. Each market has a different threshold for the points a team must score for the market to settle as 'Yes'.
All markets resolve based on whether the specified team scores over the designated point threshold in the first half of the Georgia vs Arkansas college football game scheduled for September 19, 2026. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve according to the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. The markets are independent of each other, each evaluating a unique point threshold for either Georgia or Arkansas.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from initial sportsbook lines which can be influenced by factors like public perception or house biases. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action on both sides, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information access or analytical approaches. It’s common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbook odds as new information emerges, offering a potentially different perspective on the likely result of the first half.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing different team total outcomes for the first half. The price of each contract reflects the market’s assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information surfaces, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time estimate of expectations. The market depth—the number of buy and sell orders at various price points—indicates the level of agreement or disagreement among traders regarding the potential for each team's first-half performance.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final team totals for the first half of the Georgia vs Arkansas game are verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official statistics reported by the game’s governing body. The market will determine which outcome—the team total being over or under a specific number—is the correct one based on the official first-half score. All trading will cease upon resolution, and winning contracts will be paid out accordingly.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Injury reports for key players on either the Georgia or Arkansas teams are significant catalysts, as they directly impact expected scoring potential. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to affect the passing or running game, could also shift expectations. Pre-game news regarding coaching strategies or team morale might also play a role. Finally, any significant line movements in sportsbooks could attract attention and influence trading volume in this market, as traders react to perceived value discrepancies.
