These markets track how many points are scored in the final quarter of a college football game between Georgia Tech and Stanford. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined during that specific quarter.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the Georgia Tech vs Stanford college football game scheduled for September 26, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold: if the combined score exceeds that threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. For all markets, only points scored during regulation 4th quarter play count—overtime points are excluded. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original scheduled time, markets remain open and resolve based on the final official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Currently, it's difficult to draw direct comparisons between this market and sportsbook odds without specific data from sportsbooks. However, prediction markets often reflect the 'wisdom of the crowd,' incorporating a broader range of information and perspectives than traditional sportsbooks. This can sometimes lead to differences in probabilities, as prediction markets allow traders to adjust their views based on new information and analysis. It is common for prediction markets to be more accurate than traditional polls or expert opinions when forecasting event outcomes.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Georgia Tech vs Stanford football game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The total points scored in the 4th quarter will be tallied, and the market will settle based on whether that total exceeds 12.5 points or not. The resolution will be based on official game statistics, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the price of contracts in this market. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Georgia Tech or Stanford football teams could significantly shift expectations. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favorable for high or low scoring, could also impact trading activity. Furthermore, real-time updates during the game itself, such as scoring drives or defensive stops, will likely cause rapid adjustments in the market price as traders react to the unfolding events.
