Description
This event is for the CBB game between George Washington Revolutionaries and Utah Valley Wolverines on March 18 at 8:00 PM ET.
If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed.
If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50.
Kalshi's monoline market resolves YES for ANY outcome (either team winning), making it logically incoherent and fundamentally unresolvable. Polymarket offers coherent binary, spread, and total markets with consistent, mutually exclusive resolution logic across all 11 distinct markets.
Hero Tip:
Avoid Kalshi's market entirely — it violates basic market logic by resolving YES regardless of who wins. Trade only on Polymarket, where all 11 markets (1 monoline, 6 spreads, 4 totals) have clear, mutually exclusive outcomes tied to final score.
Critical Divergence Points:
Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi's single market states 'If George Washington wins... then the market resolves to Yes' AND 'If Utah Valley wins... then the market resolves to Yes.' This creates a logical contradiction where the market resolves YES for every possible outcome, making it unresolvable. No NO outcome is defined.
Polymarket: Aligned with standard sports betting logic: Polymarket offers 11 coherent markets covering monoline (George Washington vs. Utah Valley), 6 spread variants (ranging from GW -1.5 to GW -13.5 and UV -1.5 to UV -2.5), and 4 total variants (O/U 145.5 through 160.5). Each market has mutually exclusive YES/NO outcomes tied to final score including overtime. All markets include identical postponement (remain open) and cancellation (50-50 split) clauses.
