This prediction market asks for the exact final score of a Serie A soccer match between Genoa CFC and Frosinone Calcio, excluding extra time or penalty shootouts. The market offers a comprehensive list of possible scores, as well as an 'Any Other Score' option.
In the upcoming Serie A game between Genoa CFC and Frosinone Calcio, scheduled for September 12, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Genoa CFC vs. Frosinone Calcio match originally scheduled for September 12, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect a different kind of information than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of many individuals, potentially offering a more accurate forecast of the event's outcome. The wisdom of the crowd can sometimes outperform expert analysis. However, sportsbooks typically offer a wider range of betting options than are available in this market, which focuses specifically on the exact final score. The difference in odds can also stem from differing levels of liquidity and market participation.
Prices on Polymarket and Predict can diverge due to several factors. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different traders with varying risk appetites and information sets, leading to differing interpretations of the likely outcome. Trading volume also plays a role; higher volume on one platform can indicate stronger conviction and potentially influence prices. Furthermore, the user interfaces and available trading tools on Polymarket and Predict may contribute to price discrepancies. These factors contribute to the dynamic pricing seen in this market.
Several events could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Genoa or Frosinone would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Changes in team form, such as unexpected wins or losses in preceding matches, could also influence trader sentiment. Tactical announcements from either manager, like confirmed starting lineups or changes in formation, might also move the market. Finally, even weather conditions on match day could be a factor, potentially affecting the style of play and influencing predictions for this market.
