In the upcoming Coppa Italia game between Genoa CFC and FC Südtirol, scheduled for September 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Genoa CFC vs. FC Südtirol match originally scheduled for September 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. If a significant number of traders believe a particular score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price of shares representing that outcome will rise. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of trading in this market. It’s useful to compare the implied probabilities to those offered by sportsbooks to identify potential value.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each possible exact score. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability of that score occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy into a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling pressure drives prices down. This dynamic pricing system ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all traders involved, creating a real-time forecast of the event's outcome.
This market resolves around Sep 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Genoa CFC vs. FC Südtirol match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact scoreline determined by official sources will be used to determine which shares pay out. Any disputes regarding the official result will be addressed based on widely accepted and publicly available information. The resolution process aims to be transparent and based on objective data, ensuring a fair outcome for all traders participating in this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift probabilities in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff for either Genoa CFC or FC Südtirol could significantly impact the perceived likelihood of different scores. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-game tactical announcements, could also trigger shifts in the market. Furthermore, major upsets in other related matches or changes in public sentiment could also contribute to price movements in this market as traders adjust their forecasts.
