Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict use identical resolution logic including score validation, cancellation handling, and data source hierarchyPrimary resolution logic: Official statistics from Serie A governing body

Core resolution logic:

  • Resolve based on final score at end of 90 minutes plus stoppage time
  • Exclude extra time and penalty shoot-outs from score consideration
  • Use official governing body data first, then Flashscore, Sofascore, and credible reporting
  • Canceled matches with no make-up game resolve to 0-0
  • Any unlisted score resolves to "Any Other Score"

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: Markets remain open until match is completed
  • Score revision: Revisions to officially declared scores after market resolution are ignored
Timing: Resolution occurs after official match conclusion and data publication, with fallback sources used if needed within 2 hours of match endOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
