Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook odds due to differing information and incentives. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market allows traders to express their own independent assessments. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those seen here, it could indicate disagreement about the probabilities of each team winning. It’s common to see prediction markets converge towards a more accurate probability as more information becomes available, potentially outperforming traditional betting venues.
