Two esports teams compete in a strategic video game on a specific map. The outcome depends on which team secures victory in that map during their scheduled match.
This event resolves based on the result of map 2 in the LCK Challengers League 2026 match between Gen.G Global Academy and Hanwha Life Esports Challengers, scheduled for August 10, 2026, at 6:00 AM EDT. If Gen.G Global Academy wins map 2, that market resolves to Yes. If Hanwha Life Esports Challengers wins map 2, that market resolves to Yes. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours, cancelled, or forfeited before play begins, all markets resolve to the fair market price. If a map begins and is later forfeited, resolution follows the official result from the governing body.
On Kalshi, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. While sportsbooks may incorporate additional factors like historical performance and public betting trends, prediction markets rely purely on the collective wisdom of participants. The current odds here can diverge significantly from sportsbook prices due to real-time trading dynamics and the unique risk assessments of Kalshi users. Traders often see sharper or more volatile pricing, especially as new information emerges about team form or player availability.
On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Kalshi, traders manually set the odds for this market through buying and selling contracts, which determines the current implied probability for each possible outcome. The platform’s pricing mechanism reflects the collective assessment of participants about which team is more likely to win map two, adjusting dynamically with each trade.
This market resolves around Aug 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result is based solely on the official match records determining which team secured the map two victory, and no internal platform mechanisms are involved in setting the final value.
