Description

In the upcoming VCT best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-07-26 09:50 UTC: if Rex Regum Qeon wins the series, the market will resolve to "Rex Regum Qeon"; if Gen.G Esports wins the series, the market will resolve to "Gen.G Esports". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official VCT broadcast and https://valorantesports.com/; community coverage on vlr.gg may be used as a supplementary source. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Frequently asked questions

On Opinion, the dashboard for the Gen.G vs Rex Regum Qeon esports match displays real-time odds and historical price movements as traders position themselves on the outcome. The interface shows current market pricing, 24-hour volume of $0, and cumulative trading activity. Traders use this data to monitor shifting sentiment and liquidity depth throughout the event window. The dashboard updates continuously, allowing participants to track how odds evolve as new information emerges about team performance, roster changes, or competitive conditions leading up to match day.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have direct financial exposure to accuracy. This market aggregates real-money positions from participants betting on the outcome, which can reveal insights that differ from conventional betting lines. Comparing the two can highlight where the crowd sees value or where consensus breaks down, though each reflects legitimate market pricing under its own rules.

On Opinion, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where buyers and sellers set bids and asks in real time. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders stake capital on their chosen outcome, and the price reflects the aggregate willingness to buy or sell at each level. As new information surfaces—team announcements, player updates, or analyst commentary—traders adjust positions, moving the price accordingly. The mechanism rewards accurate forecasting and punishes poor predictions, creating a self-correcting system where prices tend toward genuine probability estimates over time.

This market resolves around Jul 26, 2026, once the esports match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official match result as reported by the tournament organizer or league governing the competition. No further action is required from traders after the event; the platform confirms the winner and settles all positions accordingly. Early resolution is possible if the match is canceled or postponed under specific conditions outlined by the event operator.

Key catalysts include roster announcements, player injuries or substitutions, recent tournament performance, and head-to-head matchup history. Patch updates or balance changes to the game itself can shift competitive advantage. Media coverage, expert predictions, and community sentiment often precede price moves as traders incorporate new analysis. Betting activity from high-volume traders or known forecasters can also trigger momentum. Pre-match scrimmages, team statements, or coaching changes in the days before competition typically generate the most volatility, as they provide concrete signals about team readiness and strategy.
