Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly assess probabilities. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly diverges from expert analysis. If a large number of people believe in an outcome not favored by sportsbooks, the odds on Polymarket may shift accordingly. It's important to compare both to gain a comprehensive understanding of potential outcomes.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares purchased for a specific outcome, the higher its price rises, indicating increased confidence. Conversely, selling shares lowers the price, signaling decreasing confidence. This dynamic pricing system allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities as the event approaches.

This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Gazhula vs. Slozka match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders who correctly predicted the result will be eligible to receive their payout based on the final share price at resolution. It’s important to monitor official announcements as the resolution date approaches.

Several factors could influence this market before Oct 3, 2026.
