It reflects the competitive performance of both teams in the initial 30 minutes of play. The outcome depends solely on the scoring during the first half, not the final game result.
The market resolves based on which team is leading at the end of the first half of the Gardner-Webb vs Wofford college football game scheduled for September 5, 2026. If Wofford has more points than Gardner-Webb after the first half, the 'Wofford wins 1st Half' market resolves to Yes. If Gardner-Webb has more points, its corresponding market resolves to Yes. If both teams are tied, the 'Tie 1st Half' market resolves to Yes. All markets consider only points scored during the first half. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the result still applies. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi disclaims any official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
This market resolves around Sep 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winner is determined by the official game results, specifically who holds the lead at the end of the first half. As long as the game goes ahead as scheduled, the market will close shortly after the first-half whistle blows, with data sourced from standard sports news and score updates.
Injuries to key players, coaching strategies, and even last-minute lineup changes could shift this market in the days leading up to the game. Weather conditions or venue issues might also influence perceptions of momentum. Traders on Kalshi will react to any credible news or expert analysis that suggests a change in the balance of power, especially as tip-off approaches, making this market responsive to breaking developments right up until Sep 5, 2026.
