PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms agree that the market resolves based on the first goal scored within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shoot-outs. A canceled game with no make-up results in a "Neither" outcome.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with credible reporting as a fallback if official data is delayed

Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves to the team that scores the first goal during the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time
  • If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, the market resolves to "Neither"
  • Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded from consideration
  • If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the market resolves to "Neither"

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: If the game is postponed but later played, the resolution depends on the first goal in the rescheduled match within the first 90 minutes plus stoppage time
  • Delayed Official Data: If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used
Timing: Resolution occurs after the completion of the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, based on official match statistics or credible reporting if official data is delayedOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. This often leads to variations in implied chances, especially when news impacts team form or lineup decisions. Differences in volume and participant composition can amplify these gaps, making each platform’s price a distinct signal of market sentiment.

Injuries, lineup announcements, or weather updates could dramatically shift this market as the match approaches. Key moments like star player availability or tactical changes may cause rapid re-pricing on both Polymarket and Kalshi.
