This prediction group centers on a League of Legends match between FURIA Esports and RED Canids in the CBLOL Split 2 2026. The markets ask forecasters to predict which team will win the match, with specific rules for cancellations, ties, and forfeits.
This event encompasses two markets determining the winner of the CBLOL 2026 match between FURIA Esports and RED Canids scheduled for September 26, 2026. The first market resolves to Yes if FURIA Esports wins the match, while the second resolves to Yes if RED Canids wins. Both markets are subject to comprehensive secondary rules addressing match disruptions: if the match is postponed and not started within 48 hours of the scheduled time, cancelled before play begins, or forfeited before any play occurs, the market will resolve to the fair market price. If the match begins and is later forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer. Additionally, Kalshi explicitly states it is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks, logos, and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.
This market refers to the LoL match between FURIA Esports and RED Canids in the CBLOL Split 2 2026, initially scheduled for September 26, 2026 UTC. This market will resolve to "FURIA Esports" if FURIA Esports win the match against RED Canids. This market will resolve to "RED Canids" if RED Canids win the match against FURIA Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, or the team is renamed or rebranded, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit from balanced betting, while prediction markets allow anyone to trade on their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public opinion diverges from expert analysis. It's possible to find arbitrage opportunities by comparing the implied probabilities from both sources, though transaction fees and market liquidity should be considered.
Prices on Kalshi and Limitless for the FURIA vs. RED Canids match may diverge due to several factors. Kalshi and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has its own user base, trading fees, and liquidity, which can influence price discovery. Differences in the types of traders participating on each platform – for example, more sophisticated or casual bettors – can also lead to varying valuations. Furthermore, the volume traded on each platform impacts price sensitivity; a larger volume on one platform typically results in more stable and accurate pricing. These factors contribute to the observed price discrepancies.
