FULL SENSE and Global Esports compete in the second map of their VCT Pacific 2026 Valorant match scheduled for July 23, 2026 at 4:00 AM EDT. The winner of map 2 determines the outcome of this market.
Resolution depends on which team wins map 2 of the scheduled match. If the map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the original start time, or if the match or map is cancelled before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. If a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, resolution follows the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market aggregates real-money forecasts from participants with direct financial exposure to the outcome. Comparing the two can reveal where professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders disagree, though prediction markets typically converge toward consensus as the event date nears.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts reflecting their belief in each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices range from 0 to 100 cents, with each contract worth $1 if the outcome occurs and $0 otherwise. The spread between bid and ask reflects current liquidity and uncertainty. As new information emerges or the event date approaches, traders adjust positions, moving the price to reflect updated consensus.
This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official match outcome between the two teams on Map 2. Traders holding contracts aligned with the verified result will receive the full payout, while opposing positions expire worthless. Resolution timing may shift slightly if the event is postponed or rescheduled.
Key catalysts include roster changes, recent team performance, player injuries, and pre-match analysis from esports commentators. Patch updates or map-specific balance changes can shift competitive advantage. Public statements from team management or coaching staff may influence trader expectations. As the match date approaches, official odds from major sportsbooks and community sentiment on esports forums often drive repricing. Live match results from Map 1 and any pre-game interviews could trigger significant movement in final hours.
