FULL SENSE and Global Esports compete in the first map of their VCT Pacific 2026 Valorant match scheduled for July 23, 2026 at 4:00 AM EDT. The winner of map 1 determines the outcome of this market.
Resolution depends on which team wins map 1 of the scheduled match. If the map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the original start time, or if the match or map is cancelled before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. If a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, resolution follows the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms and participant bases. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of many independent traders competing for profit. This market's odds on Kalshi emerge from real-time supply and demand, meaning they can move faster or differently than traditional sportsbook lines. Comparing the two can reveal where public perception differs from professional oddsmakers, though both aim to reflect the true probability of the outcome.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective confidence of market participants, ranging from near-zero to near-100 cents per share. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their bids and asks, causing the price to move in real time. This dynamic pricing model ensures that the market continuously incorporates fresh data and trader conviction, creating a live probability estimate for the Map 1 result.
This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, once the Map 1 result is confirmed and verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the actual performance and result of the match between the two teams on the specified map. Traders should monitor official esports broadcasts, team announcements, and tournament updates as the event approaches to stay informed on any scheduling changes or relevant developments that could affect the final resolution.
Several factors can shift this market's price before resolution. Team roster changes, player injuries, or unexpected roster swaps may alter perceived strength. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head map history, and pre-match analysis from esports commentators can influence trader confidence. Patch updates or map changes in the underlying game may favor one team's playstyle over the other. Additionally, official statements from teams about preparation, coaching changes, or strategic adjustments can trigger repricing. As the event date approaches, any public commentary or leaked scrimmage results may also move odds significantly.
