A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

The market resolves based on the outcome of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters vs Fukuoka Hawks Japan NPB game originally scheduled for August 6, 2026, at 5:00 AM EDT. If the game is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled game finishes, provided it occurs within two days of the original date. If the game is cancelled or rescheduled to more than two days after the original date, the market resolves to a fair price. A tie results in a 50/50 resolution for both markets.
