In the upcoming NPB game, scheduled for August 5 at 5:00AM ET: If the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks win, the market will resolve to "Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks". If the Nippon Ham Fighters win, the market will resolve to "Nippon Ham Fighters". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source will be official information from the NPB. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
The market resolves based on the winner of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters vs Fukuoka Hawks Japan NPB game originally scheduled for August 5, 2026, at 5:00 AM EDT. If the game is postponed or delayed, the market stays open until the rescheduled game finishes, as long as it occurs within two days of the original date. If the game is canceled or rescheduled beyond two days, the market resolves to a fair price. A tied game results in a 50/50 resolution. The platform has no official connection with the governing league, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary due to differences in user bases, liquidity, and trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one venue might see heavier betting from fans of a particular team, skewing its implied probability. Additionally, each platform’s fee structure and order flow can influence how quickly prices adjust, leading to temporary mismatches between the two markets.
