Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly as an event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perceptions, while this market aggregates the diverse perspectives of informed traders. However, discrepancies can exist due to differing market structures and liquidity. It's common to see initial sportsbook lines move closer to the prediction market price as more information becomes available and bettors refine their assessments of the likely outcome.
