Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 25, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the governing body or event organizers (Eliteserien.no), with fallback to consensus of credible reporting if official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES if Fredrikstad FK wins the match (Fredrikstad market), if Viking FK wins the match (Viking market), or if the match ends in a draw (Draw market).
Market resolves NO if the outcome does not match the specified condition (e.g., Fredrikstad market resolves NO if Viking wins or draw occurs).
Exactly ONE of the three markets (Fredrikstad Win, Viking Win, Draw) will resolve YES.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Fredrikstad and Viking markets resolve NO, and the Draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution occurs based on the final outcome of the completed match.
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the Fredrikstad Win and Viking Win markets resolve NO, while the Draw market resolves YES.
Resolution Timing: Primary resolution source is official Eliteserien statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, or upon consensus credible reporting if official statistics are not available within 2 hours of match conclusion.
