Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by traders risking real capital on outcomes they believe will occur. This market aggregates the collective conviction of thousands of independent traders, which can sometimes offer a more granular or forward-looking view than traditional betting lines, especially as new information emerges closer to kickoff.

On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects the ratio of capital allocated to each outcome. As traders place orders based on their expectations, the price adjusts in real time, creating a continuous price discovery mechanism. Higher prices indicate stronger market confidence in that outcome, while lower prices suggest skepticism or perceived undervaluation.

This market resolves around Jul 13, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the final score and official match result as confirmed through standard sports news sources and governing bodies. Until that point, the market remains open for trading, allowing participants to adjust positions based on team news, injuries, or other developments that may influence expectations.

Key injury announcements, lineup changes, or tactical shifts from either team could significantly shift trader sentiment. Recent form, head-to-head records, and any roster updates leading up to kickoff may prompt repricing. Weather conditions at the venue, referee assignments, and late-breaking team news often trigger volatility in the final hours before the match. Additionally, broader tournament context or playoff implications could influence how traders assess the stakes and likely intensity of play.
