Frequently asked questions

On Limitless, the France vs Brazil goal-scoring market dashboard tracks real-time pricing and trading activity for this prediction on whether France will outscore Brazil in their 2026 World Cup matchup. The dashboard displays current odds, historical price movements, and 24-hour trading volume, giving traders a complete view of how the market is pricing this outcome. These metrics update continuously as new trades execute, allowing participants to monitor sentiment shifts and liquidity across the event window leading up to kickoff.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms and risk models. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders themselves, who aggregate dispersed information and personal forecasts. This market's odds may lead or lag sportsbook lines depending on which venue's participants have fresher data about team form, injuries, or tactical shifts. Comparing the two can reveal where smart money is positioning ahead of the tournament.

On Limitless, traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome, and the market price emerges from the balance of supply and demand. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders believe France will score more goals, they bid up the price of that outcome; conversely, confidence in Brazil pushes the opposite direction. The platform's order book and continuous pricing mechanism ensure that the odds reflect the collective forecast of all active participants in real time, with no central operator setting the line.

This market resolves around Jul 20, 2026, once the France versus Brazil World Cup match concludes and the final goal tally is verified. The outcome is determined by comparing the total goals scored by each team during regulation and extra time if applicable. Resolution is confirmed once the result is verifiable from credible public reporting of the official match record, ensuring all traders have access to the same authoritative data.

Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury updates to star players, qualifying-round performance and goal-scoring trends, and tactical shifts revealed in warm-up matches. Head-to-head history and recent form in competitive fixtures can shift trader sentiment significantly. Weather conditions at the venue, referee assignments, and late-breaking news about player fitness closer to kickoff may also trigger sharp repricing. Major upsets or standout performances by either nation in earlier tournament rounds could reshape expectations about their offensive firepower.
