On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary because each venue has its own user base, liquidity conditions, and trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one platform might see heavier betting on a particular outcome, shifting its price faster than the other. Differences in available information, user participation levels, and even interface design can also lead to diverging odds, making each platform’s price a distinct snapshot of market sentiment.
