Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader consensus rather than fixed bookmaker margins. Sportsbooks typically build in a 4–5% vig and adjust lines to balance liability, whereas Polymarket prices emerge from open order books where traders compete directly. Such gaps may signal value or market inefficiency.
On Polymarket, the Mair vs Bronzetti match is priced as binary outcome contracts, with each player represented by a separate YES/NO token. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell these tokens at prices between 0 and 1 cent, with the price directly reflecting the implied probability of that outcome. As match details emerge—player form, court conditions, injury reports—Polymarket prices adjust in real time.
