These markets track specific combinations of outcomes in the first half and the full game of a college football match between Florida and Auburn. Each market requires both the first half result and the final game result to match a particular scenario for the market to settle positively. The outcomes consider all possible scenarios, including wins by either team or a tie in the first half, combined with different final results.
The markets resolve based on the combined results of both the first half and the full game (including overtime) of the Florida vs Auburn college football game scheduled for September 19, 2026. For any market to resolve to 'Yes,' both the specified first half result and the specified full game result must occur exactly as described. If either the first half or the full game result does not match the market's conditions, the market resolves to 'No.' Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official final result. If the game fails to start within the 48-hour window, the markets will resolve to a fair price. These rules apply uniformly across all markets for this event.
Prediction market odds often differ from those found at traditional sportsbooks due to the different incentives of participants. Sportsbooks aim to set lines that balance action on both sides, while prediction market participants are incentivized to express their true beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. This can lead to prediction markets reflecting a more accurate assessment of probabilities, especially as more information becomes available. However, sportsbook odds still represent a valuable point of comparison, and significant discrepancies can sometimes be observed, particularly before the event begins.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective probability assessment of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust dynamically. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means that the price of a contract will move based on supply and demand, with higher prices indicating a greater perceived chance of success for that particular result in the Florida vs Auburn game.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the first half and full-time game will be used to determine the winning contracts. The resolution will be based on the official results released by the governing body of the sport, ensuring a transparent and objective determination of the outcome. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies for future events.
Several signals could significantly move this market before its resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Florida or Auburn would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they are expected to impact playing conditions, could also influence trader behavior. Furthermore, significant news coverage or analysis highlighting a team’s strengths or weaknesses could sway market sentiment. Unexpected developments in team dynamics or coaching strategies could also contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
