These markets evaluate how many points will be scored in a specific quarter of a college football game between Florida Atlantic and Florida. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined during the second quarter.
The markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the second quarter of the Florida Atlantic vs Florida college football game scheduled for September 5, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold (ranging from more than 2.5 points to more than 27.5 points) that must be exceeded for the market to resolve to 'Yes'. Only points scored during the second quarter count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, the market resolves to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines due to differing information and incentives. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market allows traders to express their own probabilities. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook line is inaccurate, they can drive the price on Kalshi in a different direction. However, as the event approaches, these odds tend to converge as more information becomes available and both markets incorporate new data. It’s common to see discrepancies, particularly early in the trading period.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the 2nd Quarter Total. The price of a contract indicates the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price fluctuates based on supply and demand. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price reflects the collective assessment of all participants, making it a dynamic representation of expectations for the game. Higher prices indicate greater confidence in that outcome, while lower prices suggest less confidence.
This market resolves around Sep 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final 2nd Quarter Total score is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official game statistics as reported by the governing sports authority. Traders holding contracts on the correct outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution. It’s important to note that the official score is the sole determinant, and any disputes regarding the score will be resolved based on official sources.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Injury reports for key players on either the Florida or Florida Atlantic teams would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest adverse playing conditions, could also impact the expected score. Late-breaking news regarding team strategies or coaching decisions could also shift trader sentiment. Finally, as the game draws closer, any public statements from analysts or insiders offering strong opinions about the likely outcome could contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
