This market predicts the exact final set score of the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Quarterfinal between Flavio Cobolli and Arthur Fery on July 8. Bettors select the precise winning margin and final score.
Each outcome resolves to Yes if the match concludes with that exact set score. Cobolli winning 3-0, 3-1, or 3-2, or Fery winning 3-0, 3-1, or 3-2 are the possible resolutions. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. Postponements or delays keep the market open until the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are settled at Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and audiences. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets reflect the aggregated beliefs of traders who have real money at stake on the outcome. This market aggregates the collective intelligence of participants trading on the exact score, which can differ meaningfully from traditional sportsbook pricing. Both sources offer valuable signals, but prediction markets are often studied for their forecast accuracy on specific events.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to each possible exact score outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the probability that traders assign to it, with higher prices indicating stronger consensus on more likely results. Liquidity providers and active traders help narrow bid-ask spreads, making it easier for others to enter or exit positions. As match details become clearer, prices adjust dynamically to reflect new information.
This market resolves around Jul 8, 2026, once the Cobolli vs Fery match concludes and the final set score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact number of sets won by each player in their completed match. Traders holding shares in the correct exact-score outcome receive their payout once the result is confirmed and the market officially settles. Until that point, prices continue to shift based on live match developments and trader sentiment.
Several factors could shift prices significantly before this market resolves. Pre-match announcements regarding player injuries, fitness levels, or withdrawal would trigger immediate repricing. During the match itself, momentum swings, set outcomes, and tactical adjustments create real-time trading opportunities as participants update their probability estimates. Court conditions, weather delays, and player performance streaks also influence how traders reassess the likelihood of each exact-score outcome. Breaking news about either player's form or recent results can cause sharp moves in the odds.
