On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy or sell shares representing each outcome, and the cumulative volume on each side determines the implied probability displayed on the dashboard. As more capital flows into one outcome, its price rises and the competing outcome falls. This mechanism ensures continuous liquidity and allows traders to enter or exit positions at transparent, market-driven rates throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jul 30, 2026, once the second-half result of the match is final and verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the goals scored in the second half only—not the full match or first-half performance. Traders holding positions in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. Resolution occurs after the match concludes and the official result is confirmed, ensuring all market participants have access to the same verified information.
Several factors may shift trader positioning before kickoff and during the match. Team news—injuries, lineup changes, or tactical announcements—can alter perceived second-half strength. Early first-half momentum, goals, or red cards may influence expectations for the second half, prompting traders to adjust positions. Weather conditions, crowd factors, and recent form updates can also sway sentiment. As the match progresses, live score developments and substitution patterns will likely trigger sharp repricing. Traders monitor all these signals to identify edges and adjust their exposure accordingly.
