Prediction market odds in this market often reflect a different outlook compared to traditional sportsbook lines, because they are driven directly by trader sentiment and real-time betting activity rather than set by oddsmakers. While sportsbooks may lean on historical data and analyst forecasts, this market captures crowd-sourced expectations, which can create notable differences in implied probabilities and trading dynamics.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually set the price through their bids and offers, which determines the current implied probability for each possible outcome. The top outcome shown reflects the aggregate wisdom of participants on that platform, with price adjustments happening continuously as new trades are placed and information emerges ahead of the match.
